Used 3 tsp & 1 tbsp of minced garlic, 1 8-oz can of tomato sauce with roasted garlic, 1 3/4 cups of water, 8 lasagna strips, 1/4 cup grated parm cheese, ricotta (instead of cottage cheese), 14 1/2 oz can of diced tomatoes w/ green pepper & onion, 2 tsp of parsley, & 2 tsp of chile peppers. Great! - 5/25/08

I made it for Sunday dinner and it was a hit! I was a little confused with the directions as tomatoes & parsley are not in the ingredients (used ~ 1tsp parsley & chopped a vine tomato). I assumed the 1 oz can of tomato sauce is a misprint and used a 15 oz can instead. Also used 2 cups noodles. YUM! - 3/10/08

    Incredible!
This is DEFINITELY a 10 star recipe (my family rates our meals on 1-10 point scale). I combined the cottage cheese and parmesan as stated, then mixed it in rather than adding egg and dropping the mixture in 1 tbsp at a time. I heated until the cottage cheese melted. YUM!!! - 8/24/12

    Incredible!
I substituted chicken broth for the water. Also, a whole can of tomato sauce and a can of diced tomatoes. I left the egg out of the cottage cheese mixture and it works fine. - 10/17/11

This was FABULOUS! My WHOLE family ate it. I have two PICKY boys that normally turn up their nose....not to this one! I too used 8oz tom sauce, 14.5oz diced tom, 2tsp parsley and ricotta instead of cottage. I left off the Mozz cheese and we ate EVERY spec out of the pan :o) - 4/6/11

Great recipe! My family loved it as well. I made my own pasta sauce with a little extra water and about 6-8 fresh tomatos. Also added some peppers. Delicious! - 10/1/10

Very tasty! My kids had fun breaking the noodles and measuring the cottage cheese. I added a 15 oz can of Italian diced tomatoes, too. Thanks for the great recipe. - 3/3/09

Husband LOVED this one! I used ove ready whole wheat noodles and it was much faster...will probably use less than 2.5 cups next time also. OH, and I replaced cottage cheese with Ricotta, YUMMY! - 10/21/08

My whole family really enjoyed this! I had to use tomato paste, as I didn't have any sauce. If someone else does this, be prepared to add a LOT of water! - 8/23/08

This was a really good recipe! It turned out fantastic and dissapeared fast. My husband prefers beef so nest time i'll probably make this with extra lean ground beef instead. Otherwise this is perfect! - 6/9/08
