Cool whip is nothing but chemicals. Why would I consider that healthy? - 6/9/10

YUM! Love it! If you want to use real ice cream Blue Bunny has a fabulous fat free version too which would probably be just as tasty. Sorry, don't have the calorie count on it though. - 6/8/10

I used the new Reddi Whip Almond Milk topping instead of cool whip. It's only 10 calories for 2 Tbs. It was great. - 1/6/19

Looks great but I will never try it as I will not touch Cool Whip with a ten foot pole! - 6/13/13

I have used a little bit of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal and a drizzle of honey to top light ice cream and it tastes just like real fried ice cream to me. Not exactly health food, but better than the restaurant option! - 8/1/12

The coating idea is good - try it w/ fat free vanilla yogurt, roll it in the mixture of cereal and cinnamon and refreeze for about 1/3hr. Then drizzle the honey on! - 9/14/11
