Ingredients

*Flour, white, 2.5 cup (remove)
Granulated Sugar, 2 cup (remove)
*Whole Milk / Vitamin D, 1 cup (remove)
Egg, fresh, 3 large (remove)
*Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil, 16 tbsp (remove)
Kroger Instant Vanilla Pudding, 6 serving (remove)
Vanilla Extract, .5 tsp (remove)
Cinnamon, ground, 2 tsp (remove)
Baking Powder, 1.5 tsp (remove)
Baking Soda, 0.5 tsp (remove)
Salt, .5 tsp (remove)
Directions
Do not use any type of metal with this batter.
Do not refrigerate.
If air forms in your bag, let it out.
Starter kit consists of :
1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
3 cups all-purpose flour, divided
3 cups white sugar, divided
3 cups milk
This is divided into 4 bags of 1 cup each and the remainder makes bread. The calories and ingredients here are for a second + generation bread.
Day 1 (Do nothing with your starter bag)
Day 2-5: Mush the Bag
Day 6: Add 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup milk, mush the bag
Day 7-9: mush the bag
Day 10: Pour contents of bag into bowl and add 1.5 cups flour, 1.5 of sugar, and 1.5 cups of milk.
Measure 4 seperate cups of batter 1 cup each into 4 1-gallon ziplock bags. Keep one starter for yourself and give the other 3 bags away.
To the remaining batter add:
3 eggs
1 cup oil
1/2 cup milk
1 cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups flour
1 large box of vanilla pudding
Grease 2 large loaf pans and mix additional 1/2 cup sigar and 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Dust the greased pans with half the mixture.
Pour batter evenly into the pans and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon/sugar mixture on top.
Bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees.
Cool for 10 minutes and serve!

I love this recipe! I have actually been working with it for few months now... Been improvinsing. When baking my loaves I added a can of coconut milk instead of milk, a 1/3 cup of grated coconut and then sprinkled some on top poured it into a 9X13 pan and baked it per usual a real big hit at work - 10/25/09

Love Love Love this bread. I've had it before and have been dying to make it since then. So glad I came across this recipe. Very easy to make too! Seems like it is complicated because of the whole starter process, but it really isn't. You just have to wait a little while, but it is worth it. - 7/24/07
