Ingredients
1 Cup of whole wheat flour
1/2 cup of white sugar
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 tsp of BOTH Baking Soda AND Baking Powder
1 cup of Oats (I used larger rolled oats)
1 egg
Spices (Cinnamon, All Spice, Mango), anything you like!
2 tsp of butter (you don't need too much!)
A dollop of apple sauce
1/2 cup of Blueberry's
1 cup butter milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degree
1.cream together Butter and Sugar, then add the egg and vanilla and the apple sauce (if you the mixture isn't wet enough)
2. in a separate bowl, sift (or mix with a wisk), the Flour, baking soda, baking power, and spices.
3. Make a whole in the flour bowl and gently 'fold' the wet ingrediants into the dry ones (don't over mix, just enough to make sure that everything is sort of blended). THen add the blueberries and oats.
scoop into 12 cups.
sprinkle brown sugar or granola on the top of the batter, it will make them look very nice!
bake for 25 minutes and VOLA!
YUMMY ness
Bake 400 for 25 minutes
I made them last night, and they were a tad but sweet (maybe cut a bit of the sugar out to make it less sweet!).
