Ingredients


    Ingredients:
    *Great Value Smoked Sausage Ring, 16 oz thin sliced
    Chicken Breast cut into 1" cubes
    Shrimp, cooked, 12 oz
    *Okra, frozen, cooked, 1 package (10 oz) yields
    *Canola Oil, .25 cup
    *Flour, white, .25 cup plus 2 tbls
    Garlic, 4 cloves chopped
    *Peppers, sweet, red, fresh, 1.5 cup, chopped
    Onions, raw, 1.25 cup, chopped
    Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced
    Swanson Chicken Broth 99% Fat Free, 6 cups
    Yellow Sweet Corn, Frozen, 2 cup kernels
    Bay Leaf, 2
    Pepper, black, 2 tsp
    Thyme, ground, 1.5 tsp
    Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce, 6 tsp
    tabasco 1.5 tsp

Directions

In a large Frying pan over med heat cook the smoked sausage until well browned. Added the chicken breast just to sear. Stirring about 2-3 minutes. Remove the meats and add the okra to the same skillet turn pan to low heat until browed. Remove from heat set aside
In a large pot heat oil then wisk in flour stir over med heat until dark brown (stir often so it does not burn) add onions and garlic cook about 5 min then add celery and peppers until tender.
Stir in broth add okra and all the juices from cooking it to pot. Add all the spices except the hot sauce.. Bring to a boil then reduce and simmer for about 30 min. Then add sausage and chicken simmer for another 45 minutes add shrimp corn and hot sauce cook 5 more minutes serve over rice (not included in calories)
