Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    5 cups rhubarb, cut into small pieces, 2 cups sugar, 1 cup flour,1 egg, 4 Table. melted butter, 1 teasp. ground nutmeg

Directions

Combine chopped rhubarb with 1 cup of sugar and 3 tablespoons flour. Put into a buttered baking dish (13x9). In another bowl, combine the rest of the flour, 1 cup sugar and beaten egg until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over rhubarb. Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake in 375 degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until top is golden brown. Best served warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

    Similar to my grandma's recipe (yummy), but at 336 calories per serving it's not going to fit into any weight-loss plan. - 4/13/08

    Thank you for sharing. Even though this isn't a low cal recpie it isn't that bad either. I always appericate others effort to supply good recipies and then I can tweak them and make them the way I want. I really don't like the recipe snobs out there! - 6/28/09
