Ingredients

    Cookies:
    Imperial Stick Margarine, 8 tbsp
    Granulated Sugar, 1 cup
    Granulated Sugar, 6 tsp
    Egg, fresh, 3 large
    Salt, .25 tsp
    Milk, 2%, .25 cup
    Lemon Juice, 2 fl oz
    Flour, white, 3.5 cup
    Baking Powder, 7 tsp

    Frosting:
    Powdered Sugar, 2 cup, unsifted
    Lemon Juice, 1 wedge yields
    Milk, 2%, .25 cup

Directions

Cookies:
Cream margarine and sugar well; add eggs one at a time. Add milk and lemon juice. Mix together salt, baking powder and flour. Add flour mixture to wet mixture gradually until machine won't take stiff mixture. Finish adding flour, stiring with spoon or hands until mixed. Roll into 1" balls and place on greased baking sheet. Bake in 350 oven for 10-12 minutes.

Frosting:
Mix wet ingredients; add sugar and beat well. Ad color (if desired). Dip tops of cookies in frosting (while cookies are still hot) and let dry.

Yield - Approx 4 dzn cookies.
