Ingredients

    1/4 cup thinly sliced onion
1tbsp fat free liquid egg substitute
1/8 cup fiber one bran cereal (original)
    1/4 tsp. onion powder
dash of salt and black pepper
1 oroweat sandwich thin whole wheat roll
    1 jennie-o turkey burger
1 kraft fat free sharp cheddar single
    1/2 tbsp a-1 steak sauce
    2 lettuce leaves

OPTIONAL: Tomato and fat-free mayo (not in nutritional info!!)

Directions

Place Onion "strings" in a bowl and cover with egg substitute. Toss to coat and set aside.

Using a blender or food processor, grind cereal to a breadcrumb like consistency. Transfer crumbs to a plastic container with lid or a sealable plastic bag. Add seasonings and mix well.

Remove onions from egg substitute, shake gently to remove excess liquid and transfer to the container with seasoned crumbs. Cover or seal and shake until onion strings are completely coated in crumbs.

Bring a skillet sprayed with nonstick spray to medium-high heat on the stove. Evenly disperse crumb coated onion strings in the skillet. Discard excess crumbs. Flipping occasionally with a spatula, cook for about 5 minutes, until slightly browned and softened.

Grill the turkey burger (i used a george foreman grill!)
Toast the roll lightly.

Put burger on the roll and top with cheese.
Spread A-1 sauce on the cheese. Top with onion strings and lettuce.
