Introduction

I used this receipe the first time for Christmas but now I make it about 5x a year and freeze it in individual baggies for a quick hot breakfast I also use whatever meat I have available. Ingredients

    7 slices white bread, crusts removed and cubed
    2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    6 eggs
    3 cups milk
    1 tsp ground mustard
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp pepper
    6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled

Directions

In a greased 11 in x 7 in x 2 in baking dish, combine the bread cubes and cheese. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, mustard, salt, and pepper; pour over bread and cheese. Top with bacon. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 50-55 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
