Ingredients
-
2 cups rolled oats (gluten free)
1/2 cup puffed rice
1/2 cup dessicated coconut
1/8 cup butter (7tsp)
1/8 cup agave nectar (7 tsp)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2T raisins
2T goji berries
2T chopped apricots
2T banana chips (broken into small pieces)
Directions
8 servings
Preheat oven to 200 degrees C
Combine all the dry ingredients in the baking pan (first six items). (Add dried food after baking and cooling.)
Heat the margarine and agave syrup in a small saucepan until all the margarine melts.
Dribble syrup–butter mixture over the dry ingredients, and mix well to moisten through.
Bake for 20-30 minutes (depending on how hot your oven runs), stirring frequently.
This can easily over-brown (burn), so keep an eye on it.
Remove from oven and cool. Stir in the dried fruit.
It keeps very well stored in an airtight container.
