Ingredients

    1 cup rice
    1 1/3 cup water or broth
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp minced garlic
    1 1/2 tsp chicken bullion
    1 cup chopped carrots
    1 cup chopped red onion
    1 cup chopped zucchini
    1/2 cup frozen corn kernals
    1/2 cup chopped red bell peppers
    1/2 cup frozen peas
    2 tbsp chopped parsley
    1 tbsp thyme or marjoram
    1 tbsp i cant believe its not butter

Directions

place rice ,water, salt , garlic powder and minced garlic in a pot with a tight fitting lid. bring to boil, then lower heat to simmer. after 10 minutes add vegetablessteam for 10 minutes more. fluff rice and mix in veggys with rice. sprinkle with herbs and serve
p.s. can be cooked in a rice cooker just add all ingredeants at the beginning
