Number of Servings: 6


    1.25 cups quick-cooking oats
    2/3 cup nonfat milk
    2/3 cup plain nonfat yogurt
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 cup fresh orange juice (pref Simply Orange Calcium fortified)
    1/4 cup honey
    1.5 cups grated, peeled, red-skinned apples (about 2 med)
    1 cup chopped raw almonds
    3 cups chopped fresh fruit (such as apples, pears, oranges,etc)


Mix first 4 ingredients in large bowl. Let stand 5 minutes to soften oats. Whisk orange juice and honey in medium bowl. Stir in grated apples and almonds, then 3 cups chopped fruit. Stir fruit mixture into oat mixture. DO AHEAD: Can be made 8 hours aghead. Cover; chill. Spoon into bowls. Eat, enjoy, compliment the person that made the delicious meal for you. :) Serves 6 - 8

    I just finished entering this recipe to find you already did it. I added Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Cloves to my batch to give it an Autumn taste. There's nothing better. Yum! - 10/10/10
