Introduction

Ingredients

    .5 cup beef stock
    .75 cup orange juice (any style you like)
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. onion powder
    1 tsp. red pepper flakes
    .25 cup water
    2 Tbls. cornstarch
    4 Tbls. apricot preserves
    salt to taste
    black pepper to taste
    1 T. butter to finish

Directions

Pour beef stock and orange juice into small saucepan. Heat through on Medium low heat. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes. Heat through. Add apricot preserves and whisk to blend in. Heat until preserves are "melted" into the sauce. Check seasonings and add salt and pepper if needed. In a small bowl, mix COLD water and cornstarch until combined. Add to hot sauce and whisk until blended. Bring to a boil, continue whisking. When mixture has thickened add 1 Tbls. butter and stir in to melt. Makes approx. 1.5 cups. or 12-2 Tbls. servings. ENJOY!
