This is a quick dish that I prepared this evening for my family. The recipe makes ALOT of food. As with a lot of my recipes, I like my food spicy to use your discretion with the Cayanne. Ingredients

    1.15 lbs ground pork
    1 bag (12 oz) mixed California Vegetables (any brand is fine)
    3 cups diced tomatoes
    1/2 tsp ground cayanne
    1/2 tsp ground paprika
    5 garlic cloves, diced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 cup water

    8 cups water
    1 box (13.5 oz) Ronzoni Healthy Harvest whole wheat spaghetti

Directions

Over medium/high heat, in a large pan, saute pork until almost cooked through. Add water, onion and garlic, cook until translucent. Add ground tomatoes, cayanne, paprika, fennel seeds. Continue cooking for 8 to 10 minutes until done.

In a separate pot, bring 8 cups of water to a boil. Add pasta. Cook until done. Drain water.

Serve sauce over pasta or mix pasta and sauce and then serve.

Makes eight (8) 1.5 cup servings. Serving size suggestion = 1.5 cups.
