Ingredients

    1/3 C Olive Oil
    1 C onion, chopped
    1 C carrots, shredded
    6 oz. mushrooms, sliced
    4 cloves garlic, chopped
    Large handful fresh basil
    1 # Extra Lean Ground Turkey
    1 jar tomato paste
    1 large can crushed tomato
    2/3 c milk
    4 oz. Greek Yogurt - plain
    4 oz. cream cheese
    salt/pepper to taste

Directions

Makes 13 - 1 cup servings.

In deep skillet or medium saucepan, heat olive oil.
When hot, add onion, carrot & garlic.
Saute until soft. [5 min].
Stir frequently.

Add lean turkey & brown.

Add paste and stir to combine

Reduce heat to low.
Add beef broth & crushed tomato & simmer [3 mins]

Add cubed cream cheese and greek yogurt. Stir in fresh chopped basil.

Simmer & reduce. Stir frequently so it doesn't scorch.

Serve over whole wheat pasta.
