Ingredients

    Cake
    1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    3 egg whites
    1 cup light sour cream
    1 tsp vanilla
    2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    2 cups frozen blackberries, thawed

    Topping
    1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    1 tbs all-purpose flour
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 tbs butter, softened

Directions

Preheat oven to 350.
Cream applesauce and sugar together.
Beat in egg whites.
Mix in sour cream and vanilla.
Mix flour and baking soda together.
Mix in flour mixture.
Stir in blackberries.
Turn into a sprayed 9 x 13 baking pan.
Mix the topping ingredients together until crumbly.
Sprinkle topping over the cake batter.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until done.
Let cool.
Cut into 16 pieces and serve.

    This was a hit!!! I used whole wheat flour and increased the cinnamon to 1 T just because I am a cinnamon freak and it was so moist. This is a keeper!!! - 3/27/09
