Introduction
My children just loves these. Now that they are grown, they make them too! They are carrying on the tradition! Tonight when I made these, I used the refrigerated crossiants. I, personally, like it better...it is so light. My children just loves these. Now that they are grown, they make them too! They are carrying on the tradition! Ingredients
-
1-lb. ground beef
¼ c. chopped onion
½ c. ketchup
¼ c. sour cream
½ t. salt
¼ t. garlic powder
1 (12 oz.) can refrigerated flaky biscuits
1 T. butter, melted, optional
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°. Cook ground beef with onion in a large skillet, stirring continually, until the ground beef is browned and crumbly. Return the ground beef mixture to the skillet. Stir in ketchup, sour cream, salt, and garlic powder.
Pat or roll each biscuit into a 4” square on lightly floured surface. Arrange the biscuit squares on ungreased baking sheets. Spoon ¼ c. of the ground beef mixture in the center of each biscuit square. Fold over the corner of each square to form a triangle. Seal edges with a fork. Cut three ½” slits in the top of each turnover. Bake until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes. Brush with melted butter, if desired.
