Introduction

Ingredients

    1 lb Hamburger
    1 small onion, chopped
    3-4 cloves garlic, chopped
    2 30 oz cans Hunts Traditional Spaghetti Sauce
    1 15 oz can Diced Tomatoes
    2 4 oz cans mushroom pieces
    2 TBSP Italian Seasoning
    1 C red lentils

Directions

Preheat oven to 325. In large dutch oven, Brown hamburger and onion, add garlic during the last few minutes - being careful to not let the garlic burn; drain. Add canned ingredients, seasonings and Lentils. Cover and place in oven to simmer for aprrox 2 hours, stirring about every 30 minutes.
Makes a ton of sauce; use 1/2 cup for a serving, or use for lasagna, ravioli, pizza or parmegiana sauce in other recipes.
