Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 C flour
    1/4 c unpacked brown sugar
    1 tblsp baking powder
    1/2 c vegetable shortening
    1/4 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/2 c water

Directions

mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl. Add 1/2 cup shortening and blend together occasionally adding water. watch consistency, should be able to stick together.

Put a teaspoon size of batter on cookie sheet leaving about 1 - 2 inches between cookies.

Bake at 425 for 12 minutes
Let cool and Enjoy !

This will make 12 cookies

    Good cookie. Not very sweet, but that was ok with me. I only used about 1/4 cup of water. Makes large cookies. - 8/12/12
