Introduction

This recipe brings me back to those cold winter days when you just needed a little something hot in your tummy. My mom used to make this casserole in her favorite green glass bowl. She'd mix it all together and top it with a few extra tots for the top. My brothers and I would see the bubbling casserole - but just couldn't wait to dig in. Ingredients

    2 pounds ground beef
    1 cup onion, chopped
    1 cup celery, chopped
    2 cans of mixed vegetables, drained
    1 1/2 cups of milk
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 pound bag frozen tater tots

Directions

Reserve 2 cups tater tots for top of casserole. In large bowl, mix all ingredients and pour into greased casserole dish. Top with reserved tots. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
