    4 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and diced
    1 lemon juiced or 2 Tbsp orange juice
    2 Tbsp butter
    1/4 c brown sugar


Preheat oven to 375. Place shells in muffin cups, Combine juice and apples. In heavy skillet melt butter until frothy. add brown sugar and cook until dark in color; about 1-2 min. Add apples and toss. Transfer to tart shells and bake 10-15 min. Allow to cool slightly.

Can also make mini muffin size-24

Serve with 1 tsp caramel sauce if desired
