Ingredients
-
1 lb halibut fillet
1/2 T olive oil
1 T lemon juice, divided
1/8 cup sweet onion, finely chopped
1/8 cup dill pickles, finely chopped
1 T capers, drained and finely chopped
1/2 T fresh parsley, chopped
1 T fresh dill, chopped
1/8 t granulated sugar
Dash pepper
1 T light mayonnaise
1 T plain fat-free yogurt
Directions
Wash fish and pat dry. Mix oil with 1/2 tablespoon of lemon juice in a small cup. Place fish in a glass dish and baste with oil mixture; cover and refrigerate.
Meanwhile, combine onions, pickles, capers, parsley, dill, sugar, remaining 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice, and pepper in a small bowl; stir in mayonnaise and yogurt. Cover and set aside.
To grill fish, coat grill rack with cooking spray. Preheat grill to medium-high. Grill fish for 4 minutes; flip and cook until fish turns opaque all the way through, basting with any remaining oil mixture, about 4 minutes more.
Serve fish with tartar sauce.
Yields about 4 to 5 ounces fish and 2 1/2 tablespoons sauce per serving.
