8 ozs Lean boneless beef sirloin steak
.75 cup of sliced fresh mushrooms
.25 cup thinly sliced onion, separted into rings
.25 teaspoon minced garlic
1.5 tbsp low sodium Worcestershire Sauce
1.5 teaspoon cornstarch
an eighth of a tsp dried basil
an eighth of a tsp pepper
dash of dry mustard
.50 cup of water
Directions
Trim fat from steak, Slice steak diagonally across grain into eighth inch wide strips. Coat nonstick skillet with a little cooking oil. Place over medium heatuntil hot. Add steak; cook 3 minutes or until browned. Drain and pat pan dry. Wipe drippings from skillet with a paper towel.
Coat skillet the cooking oil. Add mushrooms,onions, and garlic; saute until tender. Combine Worcestershire sauce and cornstarch in a small bowl, stirring until smooth. Stir in water and the other ingredietes. Add water mixture to mushroom mixture, and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 2 minutes or until mixture in thickened. Add steak, and cook 2 to 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
Serve over your choose of bread. Yeilds 2 servings.
