Introduction

This is MUCH healthier than ordering Chinese take-out. Put your own spin on it, too! These ingredients are just what I like, but you can add much more to it.....just be careful with the soy sauce. Ingredients

    1/2 c. dry brown rice (makes 1 cup cooked)
    6 oz. ground pork
    1 package Asian-style frozen vegetables, thawed and drained
    2 tsp. soy sauce

Directions

Cook rice in 1 cup water. Brown ground pork in large skillet over medium high heat. Add thawed and drained vegetables. Cook until veggies are heated through and tender. Add rice, stir together, and cook 5-6 minutes more. Portion out onto 2 plates and add 1 tsp. soy sauce to each serving.
