Ingredients
-
1 cup whole almonds
¼ cup whole peanuts
¼ cup cocoa powder
½ tsp sea salt
1 tbsp vanilla
¼ cup honey
1/3 cup rolled oats
Directions
In a food processor, finely chop (but do not grind) almonds and peanuts.
Pulse in cocoa and salt, then pour in honey and vanilla and pulse in.
Add oats and run until a doughy mix forms.
With your hands, make small balls or shapes out of the “dough” and place on parchment-paper lined trays.
Chill a few hours (best if overnight) before enjoying.
Variation:
To add extra protein to the mixture, add 2 tbsp of whey isolate protein powder or (for dairy-free) soy protein isolate to the cocoa mixture.
