Introduction

My husband designed this dessert for me. My husband designed this dessert for me.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

3 medium Apples (Braeburn, Gala, and Fuji are recommended)
    2 tbsp Imperial Stick Margarine
    6 tsp Ground Cinammon
3 tbsp Low fat whipped cream cheese

Directions

makes 6 servings

1. Core and slice the apples leaving the skin on. The slices should be thin.

2. Melt 1/2 of margarine in large skillet over medium heat.

3. Then add apple slices to the pan and sprinkle cinnamon over the top.

4. Keep stiring the apples and add the rest of the margarine to prevent sticking and add cinnamon to taste.

5. Remove apples from heat and serve with a dollop of cream cheese.

You may also want to use brown sugar, whipped cream, or honey in place of the cream cheese.

    Good
Did not try it with cream cheese because my husband doesn't like it. Tried it before adding anything other than cinnamon and didn't like it at all so added honey which made it much better. - 1/17/12

    Very Good
I love this recipie because it is so flexible. I've made it several time and it comes out different each time. I switch it up by add/substituting nuts [almonds], spices [alspice or nutmeg], and Fat Free whipped topping. YUM! - 1/25/11

I made this recipe tonight and it was all right. If I make it again I'll use honey and not cream cheese. - 10/13/10
