Ingredients

1 package ground turkey (not breast meat), approximately 1.4 lbs
5 tsp ground cumin
2 2/4 tsp ground tumeric
1 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
16 oz lowfat greek yogurt, plain
3 cloves garlic
2 tsp dried dill weed
1 tsp ground coriander
2 tbsp chopped fresh mint
5 whole wheat pita
16-20oz fresh baby spinach
1/4 tsp salt
juice of 1/2 lemon
Directions
Preheat oven to 425.
Combine turkey, cumin, tumeric, black and cayenne pepper. Mix together with your hands. Form into 1.5" meat balls and place on a rimmed baking sheet covered with parchment paper or foil. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes until cooked through.
Meanwhile, combine yogurt, garlic, dill, coriander, and mint.
Heat a large saute pan over medium high heat. Coat with cooking spray and add spinach, tossing until wilted; about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and squeeze lemon lemon juice over the spinach.
Serve with whole wheat pita cut in half. Makes 5 servings (1 pita, 5 meatballs, 1/3 cup yogurt mixture, 1/3 cup spinach)
