Introduction
These require no cooking and have only raw natural ingredients in them These require no cooking and have only raw natural ingredients in themNumber of Servings: 12
Ingredients
-
1 cup raw dates, minus pits
1/4 cup raw unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp coconut oil
1/4 cup raw shredded coconut
Directions
Makes 12 servings
Remove pits from dates
Place all ingredients in food processor and blend.
Add a few drops of water if necessary until it blends and forms a ball on the side of the food processor
Divide into 12 pieces, roll into balls, then roll in raw cocoa powder or coconut (adjust recipe if you use coconut)
Store in covered container in refrigerator or freeze.
NOTE: This does not work well in a blender. You really need a food processor with an "S" blade.
NOTE NOTE: If you do not care for coconut, don't use it! These are great with just cocoa.
These REALLY satisfy the craving for chocolate and are quite rich and healthy. Eat them slow and enjoy!
