Introduction

This is a great easy oatmeal cooked overnight. This is a great easy oatmeal cooked overnight.
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    2.5 cups Steel Cut Oats or other Grain Cereal
    6 cups water
    3/4 cup half and half
    1/3 cup raisins
    1/4 cup craisins
    1/2 cup nuts (chopped)
    Cinnamon
    Nutmeg
    Vanilla


Directions

In crockpot, mix together, 1 1/2 cups oats, water, half and half, raisins, craisins cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Cover and turn on Low to cook overnight. In the morning add remaining cup oats and nuts (optional) and turn crockpot on High and cook for another 1 to 1 1/2 hours. (Note - to cut fat grams in half, omit the nuts.) Makes 16 1/2 cup servings.
