Ingredients

1 BEATEN EGG
3/4 CUP SOFT BREAD CRUMBS
1/4 CUP CHOPPED ONION
2 TBSP MILK
3/4 TSP SALT
1 POUND GROUND BEEF OR PORK
2 TBSP COOKING OIL
1 CAN PINEAPPLE CHUNKS
1/3 CUP BARBECUE SAUCE
1/4 CUP ORANGE JUICE FROZEN CONCENTRATE, THAWED
1/2 CUP SUGAR FREE APPLE JELLY
1/4 TSP SALT
DASH PEPPER
2 TBSP WATER
1 TBSP CORNSTARCH
1 MEDIUM GREEN PEPPER, SLICED INTO STRIPS

Directions
in large mixing bowl combine the egg, bread crumbs, onion , milk, and 3/4 tsp salt. add ground beef/pork; mix well. Shape into 24 meatballs (about 1tbsp each). In large skillet brown meatballs in hot oil. Drain off excess fat. Drain pineapple, rfeserving syrup. Add enough water to reserved syrup to make 3/4 cup liquid.
Combine syrup mixture, barbecue sauce, orange juice concentrate, 1/4 tsp salt and pepper. pour over meatballs in skillet. bring to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simer for 15 minutes. Combine cold water and cornstarch. Stir into skillet. Cook and stir til thickened and bubbly.
\Add pineapple and green pepper. Cover and simmer for 3 minutes or till green pepper strips are crisp tender. Serve over hot cooked rice.
