Fluffy tea biscuits, very easy to make. Makes about 15 biscuits. Fluffy tea biscuits, very easy to make. Makes about 15 biscuits.
Number of Servings: 15


    2 C All-Purpose Flour
    1/2 C Whole Wheat Flour
    1 tsp Salt
    1 tsp Baking Soda
    2 tsp Cream of Tartar
    1/2 C Shortening
    1 C Milk


Mix dry ingredients in large mixing bowl. Cut in shortening. Mix well and add milk.

Knead about 10 times on a floured surface. Roll out dough to about 3/4"-1" thick. Cut with a cookie cutter or biscuit cutter to form biscuits.

Bake at 400F for 12-15 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Makes about 15 biscuits.
