Introduction

Great for breakfast or an in-between meal snack! Great for breakfast or an in-between meal snack!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 cup raw wheat germ
    1/2 cup Truvia
    4 tbsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 jumbo egg
    3/4 cup 1% milk
    1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
    1/2 cup dried cherries
    1/2 cup Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Stir wet ingredients together in a bowl. In a different bowl, mix together dry ingredients. Add the wet ingredients and mix until combined. Gently fold in cherries and chocolate chunks.

Fill muffin cups about 2/3- 3/4 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 20- 25 minute, or until edges are brown. When finished, muffin tops bounce back when pressed lightly.

Makes 12 muffins.
