Introduction

Delicious!!! Great just from the oven! Delicious!!! Great just from the oven!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    Skim Milk, .5 cup
    Active Dry Yeast, 1.25 tsp (1/2 package)
    Promise Butter Spread, 1 tbsp
    Splenda Brown Sugar Blend, 1.5 Tbsp
    Salt, .5 tsp
    Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, calcium-fortified, 1C+3Tbsp
    2 Tbsp. Baking Soda
    10 oz. water.

Directions

Warm Milk to 110*. Add yeast and let bloom 5 minutes. Add sugar and stir to dissolve. Add 1/2 of flour. Mix. Add butter, salt, and remainder of flour. Mix well. Knead 5 minutes. Let rest in oiled covered bowl in warm spot about an hour to rise.

Preheat oven to 425*

Divide into 4. Shape as desired.

Bring soda and water to a light simmer. Dip dough in and let simmer 30 seconds. Remove and place on sheet tray with parchment. Sprinkle with seasalt, if desired. Bake until golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.

If desired, brush with extra melted butter. But this will alter the nutrition counts.

Best enjoyed fresh and hot!!
