Ingredients

    1.25 pounds Ground Turkey (Jennie-O extra lean)
    1/2 cup yellow onion chopped
    1 tsp minced garlic (2 cloves)
    2 tbsp Basil (fresh)
    2 tbsp Oregano (fresh)
    2 tbsp Parsley (fresh)
    1 tsp fresh ground sea salt
    1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
    1 cup Bob's red mill extra thick oats
    1 large egg, lightly beaten

Directions

Mix egg, oats and spices. Then add remaining ingredients and mix well. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes (golden brown on the bottom)

    This recipe is delicious and simple. The meatballs can be added to spaghetti squash or pasta. I highly recommend trying it! - 4/4/13
