Ingredients
-
1 tbsp Shan brand Tandoori Powder (or other brand) - you might find this brand at an Indian grocers
1/2 tbsp Lemon Juice
2 tbsp Yogurt (recipe calculation is based on 2%)
3 boneless, skinless chicken breast (recipe based on 600g)
Directions
If using wooden skewers, soak in warm water for 5 or 10 minutes. Cube chicken breasts to desired size for skewers and place in a mixing bowl. In a small bowl, mix tandoori powder and yogurt, then add lemon juice and stir. Empty the marinade over the chicken, combine throughly, and allow to marinate for at least 10 minutes. Divide pieces evenly over 5 skewers. BBQ on Medium heat for roughly 15 minutes, turning every 5 minutes.
Please watch the bbqing carefully - because these are low in fat you need to be more vigilant about not letting them dry out.
For less spicy - use less Tandoori powder but the same amount of everything else.
Serving Size: Makes 5 skewers. Serving size is 1 skewer (120g before cooking)
