Introduction

Amazing smoothie to start off your day or a wonderful afternoon pick me up. :) Amazing smoothie to start off your day or a wonderful afternoon pick me up. :)
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 cup fresh spinach, packed (or kale)
    1/2 cup chopped, fresh or frozen broccoli
    1/2 cup sliced, fresh or frozen strawberries
    1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
    1/2 cup orange juice (may substitute yogurt for a calcium boost if desired)
    2 T. Wheat Germ
    2 T. Flax Seed Meal
    *optional extra: 1-2 tsp. Agave Syrup for taste

Directions

Combine broccoli, berries, and orange juice to blender and blend until smoothie. Next add spinach, wheat germ, flax seed (and agave syrup if desired) and blend until smoothie. If the mixture is too thick add a couple tablespoons of water at a time until desired consistency is reached. Enjoy for a nutrient rich boost!

Serving Size: Makes 1-20 oz. smoothie
