Ingredients

    2 pounds lean ground beef
    1/3 cup chopped onion
    1/3 cup chopped sweet peppers (bell peppers)
    2 eggs
    1 can french onion soup
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can cream of onion soup
    1- 1 1/2 cups fresh mushrooms
    3 cups long grain white rice (you could use brown or wild rice)
    1/3 cup fine bread crumbs
    1 1/2 cups water

Directions

mix meat, onions, peppers, bread crumbs, seasoning salt and eggs together and roll into 1 inch meat balls. Place meat balls in a large casserole dish or 9x13 baking pan. Mix together the soups, water and mushrooms and pour over the meatballs. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour at 350 then uncover and bake for 20 min. more.

while the meatballs are baking cook the rice.

serve the meatballs and sauce over the rice.
