Introduction
Healthy and Tasty Fruit Salad...depending on the amount of marshmallows you add :) Healthy and Tasty Fruit Salad...depending on the amount of marshmallows you add :)Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients
-
1 can crushed pineapple in 100% pineapple juice
1 can mandarin orange slices in juice or light syrup
1 tub of low fat cool whip whipped cream
1 box of vanilla instant pudding
1 bag of mini marshmallows- (don't use all of them)
Optional: Any other fruit you like
Directions
*Empty the tub of low fat whip cream
*Drain the mandarin oranges and dump in the whip cream
*Slightly drain the crushed pineapple but keep juices
*Empty the pudding powder- but do NOT add any other ingredients listed on box
*Add as many mini marshmallows as you prefer
Stir everything around. Most people like to add other variations of fruit, I don't unless it's strawberries. Taste it, see if you want to add more of the saved pineapple juice. Just add to your preference. Remember, your only using the vanilla pudding powder and adding it to the whip cream. Not adding milk or anything else.
Chill covered in fridge for at least 30 minutes.
You can eat it plain in a small dish or scoop with other fruit. It is reminiscent of the frosting of pineapple upside down cake.
Serving Size: Makes as little or as much as you eat. It can be a small portion for 8 people, or larger portions for 5 or 6.
Number of Servings: 6
