Ingredients

    German Chocolate Bar, Granulated Sugar, Butter, Eggs, Buttermilk, Vanilla, Flour, Baking Soda, Salt

Directions

POUND CAKE:
Partially melt 1 chocolate bar over hot water. Remove and stir rapidly until melted. Cool. In a separate bowl, cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs, vanilla and buttermilk. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, soda and salt; add to butter mixture. Mix well. Blend in chocolate. Pour into a well buttered bundt-cake pan.Bake in 300 degree oven for 90 minutes. Remove cake from pan while still hot and place under tightly fitting cover until thoroughly cooled. Drizzle Glaze over cooled cake.

GLAZE:
Melt chocolate and butter in water over low heat. In a separate bowl, mix sugar and salt. Blend in chocolate mixture and vanilla. Spread on top of cake and let drizzle down.
