Ingredients

    2 Tbsp Olive Oil
    2 # round or sirloin steak, cubed to 1"
    1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
    1/4 tsp garlic powder
    1/4 tsp onion powder
    1 can or 15 oz of beef broth or consomme
    1/2 cup water
    1 Tbsp cornstarch

Directions

Brown the cubed steak in the olive oil until no longer pink (about 20 minutes). Add the soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder and broth. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Blend the water and cornstarch, then add to the cooking meat and liquid. Stir until thickened. Serve over rice, pasta, mashed potatoes or bread.
