Ingredients

    Pork Chops, 3-4
1 Gala Apple, diced and cored
1 Spanish or Vidalia onion, diced
    1 tsp fresh thyme
    1 cup Chicken Broth
    2 tbsp EVOO
    1 tbsp butter
    1 tsp Cinnamon
    1 tsp Nutmeg

Directions

Heat a pan on high heat with 2 tbsp of olive oil. It might look like a lot, but it goes into the sauce. Sear the pork chops on each side until brown, about 2 minutes a side, and remove to a plate for later.

Melt the butter in the pan you were using. Add the apple, onion, thyme, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Cook while stirring until onion and apple are soft, about 3-5 minutes. Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add back the pork and finish cooking. Serve pork with the sauce.
