Ingredients
-
1 lb paneer
10 oz package of spinach (fresh is better, but frozen would work)
1 bunch fresh cilantro
3 jalapeno peppers
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup frozen peas
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp MDH Kitchen King Mix spice pack
2 tbsp Shan Karahi/Fry Gosht Curry Mix spice pack
2 tbsp Swad ginger & garlic paste
1 tsp mustard seed
1 tsp cumin seed
3 dried serrano peppers
2 cups milk
Directions
Remove stalks from cilantro and spinach and rinse well. In a blender, puree spinach, cilanto and jalapenos together. You will need to add about 1/2 cup of water.
In a stove top pot, heat oil and brown onions with spices, ginger & garlic paste and serrano peppers. Cut paneer into bite sized cubes and add to pan to quick fry for about 5 minutes.
Dump spinach puree into pot and add milk and peas. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer. Cook for 20-30 minutes at a simmer to bring everything together.
Spicy & delicious. Serve with basmati rice or warm roti.
