Introduction

A Family Favorite on a cold winter night! A Family Favorite on a cold winter night!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 1/2 pound Extra Lean Ground Beef
    1 28 oz. can pureed tomatoes
    1 can green beans-undrained
    1 can corn-undrained
    8 baby carrots- diced
    4 regular size potatoes-peeled and diced
    1 can Swanson's 99% fat free chicken broth
    1 bay leaf
    garlic powder (sprinkle over the top)
    seasoning salt (sprinkle over the top)

Directions

Brown beef- drain and rinse in hot water in a collander. In a stock pot, add the beef, tomatoes, corn (and juice), green beans (and juice), carrots, potatoes, broth and bay leaf. Bring to a boil and season with seasoning salt, and garlic powder. Boil and stir occasionally for 25 minutes or until potatoes and carrots are soft. Remove bay leaf and serve. makes 12-1/2cup servings.
