-
4 c. milk
1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar (or less)
1 tsp. Cinnamon (to taste)
1/2 tsp salt
2 c. old fashioned oats
1 c. dried fruit
1 c. chopped nuts
2 c. chopped tart apples (sweet apples have too much water)
Directions
Spray a baking dish or 9x13 pan, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bring milk, sugar, butter, salt, and Cinnamon to a boil in a heavy pot. transfer to baking dish and add remaining ingredients. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.
Keeps in the fridge for 2 days; or freeze in individual portions. Microwave and enjoy.
I sometimes add a 1/3 cup of protein drink to add more protein and have yummy hot/cold mix.
Often I use less sugar; and whatever type of dried fruit I have on hand.
