    3 tbsp Basil
2 serving colored sweet bell peppers, raw (1 med.)
1 cup Onion - Sweet fresh
    1.50 tsp Minced Garlic
    4 oz Wine, white zinfandel
    7 serving Aldi's Happy Harvest Diced Tomatoes - 1/2 cup (121g)/serving - 3.5 servings per 14.5oz can
    0.50 tsp Salt (table)
0.50 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
28 oz Turkey Polish Kielbasa Fit & Active from Aldi’s
16 oz Fit & Active Whole Wheat Rotini Macaroni

Directions

Makes 8 servings, 1 1/3 cups each
Bring pot of water to a boil.
In a large nonstick skillet cook sausage until brown. Remove from pan and set aside. In same skillet add 2 tsp oil and sliced peppers and onions. Cook until crisp-tender, then add garlic. Cook a minute, then add wine and red pepper and salt. Cook until wine has nearly evaporated. Stir in tomatoes and sausage. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and cover; cook until vegetables are tender about 10 minutes. If very soupy, you may want to boil without the lid at this point to evaporate some of the liquid and thicken the sauce slightly. Meanwhile, add pasta to boiling water and cook until done to taste. Drain. Add pasta to large skillet, stir lightly, then stir in basil.
