Ingredients
-
500g Extra Lean Turkey Sausage
380g 2% Double Cheddar Shredded Cheese - Kraft Light
3.25 C Betty Crocker Bisquick Mix Original
1 C Water
You can also use 1LB of sausage meat and 1LB of cheddar cheese. If doing so only use 3C of Bisquick and 3/4 C of Water.
Directions
Remove the lining from the sausages and fry until no longer pink. Drain off any fat and put sausage in a bowl to cool. Once the sausage is cool crumble into small pieces.
Add bag of shredded cheese, Bisquick Mix and water. Mix with fork.
Make into 1 inch balls and place 1-2 inches a part on cookie sheet. I can get 15 (3 across and 5 down) on a regular cookie sheet.
Bake at 400F for 12 - 15 minutes.
These puffs can also be frozen - once cooled place in plastic freezer bags and freeze.
To reheat place in over at 350F for 5 - 10 minutes,
