Introduction

An old favorite revisited. A few simple swaps allowed double the margarine and comes in just over 300 mg of sodium per serving. That is 400 less than original. An old favorite revisited. Ingredients

    1 can fit and active cream of chicken soup
    1/2 cup skim milk
    3 cups cooked dark meat turkey, skin and fat removed
    1 can low sodium mixed veggies, drained
    1 cup chopped fresh mushrooms
    1 1/2 cup cornflakes, crushed
    2 tbsp margarine melted
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    1/4 tsp thyme

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 2 qt casserole baking dish. Combine soup, milk and pepper. Stir in turkey, vegetables, and mushrooms. Pour into prepared dish. combine cereal, melted margarine, and thyme. Sprinkle over top of turkey mixture. Bake 35-40 minutes or until bubbly and and brown.
