A great way to get your fruits; the ground flax is flavorless but makes it more filling and adds fiber. You can add crushed ice instead of water if you like it really cold. Ingredients

    Banana, fresh, 1 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long)
    Pineapple, fresh, 1/16 fruit
    Strawberries, fresh, 1 cup, halves
    Bob's Red Mill Whole Ground Flaxseed Meal, 2 Tbsp.
    Honey, 1 tbsp
    Milk, 2%, .5 cup
    Cold water, .5 cup (4 fl oz)

Directions

Peel banana and cut pineapple from rind. Cut fruit into chunks. Place fruit in blender, then add flaxseed meal, honey, milk and water, and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.

Serving Size: Makes 2 servings, about 16-oz each.
