    Butter, salted, 1.5 stick, melted and cooled
    Egg, fresh, 6 large
    Granulated Sugar, 1.5 cup
    1/2 tsp salt
    Flour, white, 3.5 cups
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tbsp
    Anise Seed, 1 tbsp

Tips

Press cookies in pizzelle iron per manufacturer's instructions.


Directions

Beat eggs in large mixing bowl.
Add sugar and cooled butter
Add vanilla, salt and anise seed
Add flour 1 C at a time until thick dough forms
