Ingredients

    Arils of one pomegranate
one cup of raspberries, fresh or frozen
half a cup of fat free sugar free vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
one cup of nonfat milk or lite soy milk
    one cup of ice cubes

Directions

Combine all ingredients in blender on blend setting until smoothie reaches desired consistency. You could substitute the milk for any fruit juice you like, although it wouldn't be quite as creamy. You can also use more or less ice cubes depending on how you like your smoothies. Makes 4 small smoothies or two large smoothies. We usually drink half and freeze the other half if we know one of us has an early morning the next day so we can grab one and go without making noise or cleaning out the blender first thing in the morning - so the other one can sleep in!

    Very Good
I juiced the pomegranate first to get rid of the seeds. I used frozen raspberries - should have used fewer ice cubes because it came out more like a thick milkshake. But very yummy, and my 3-year-old is asking for more! Thanks for sharing! - 11/11/12
